Join Us as a Volunteer English Editor

၂၀၂၆ ဖေဖော်ဝါရီ ၉

Myanmar Internet Project documents digital harms in Myanmar: surveillance, internet shutdowns, coordinated disinformation campaigns, and the ways online spaces are weaponized during conflict. We publish research, briefings, and analysis for journalists, policymakers, and digital rights communities around the world.

We’re looking for a volunteer English editor to join us in strengthening this work.

If you care about clarity, nuance, and responsible storytelling and if you want to contribute your skills to support communities navigating digital repression, we would love to connect. This is a remote and flexible role, ideal for someone who enjoys refining structure and flow while respecting the author’s voice.

Your contribution will directly support documentation used in advocacy, accountability efforts, and policy engagement.

You don’t need to be an expert on Myanmar. What matters most is strong editing ability, attention to detail, and sensitivity to political context. Familiarity with digital rights or tech policy is a plus, but not required.

If this speaks to you, please email us at han@myanmarinternet.info with a short introduction and a sample of your editing or writing. We’ll follow up with more details about the role.
